Changelog

User-facing changes to the app, the gateway API, the SDKs and the deployed contracts, newest first, with the dates that can be verified.

Internal incidents and operations are not listed here.

2026-10

  • 2026-10-05 Mainnet site live: noether.exchange now serves the mainnet build of the app, behind the waitlist gate, with its own gateway and indexer. Guarded-launch limits are set on-chain: the liquidity vault's deposit cap is zero and creating a trader vault is limited to the admin. The open app stays at testnet.noether.exchange.
  • 2026-10-05 Gateway (live on the mainnet gateway; the testnet gateway follows with its next release): a market with no on-chain price is no longer a server error. GET /v1/markets and GET /v1/markets/{asset} omit oracle for it, GET /v1/oracle/prices leaves it out, and GET /v1/markets/{asset}/price answers 503 price_unavailable. In the SDK sources MarketSummary.oracle is optional.
  • 2026-10-03 Contracts deployed on Stellar mainnet in guarded mode: market paused, vault unfunded, admin 2-of-3; settlement in Circle USDC; 25x ladder on 14 pairs; Pyth cross-check configured. Addresses on Contracts and events. Trading opens after the external audit.
  • 2026-10-01 Vault factory fixes (live on every stack since 2026-10-03): vault limit orders reject the market's reduce-only flag, which could otherwise reach another vault's position; and leader trades authorize the market's USDC pull correctly, which had failed on-chain since July.

2026-09

  • 2026-09-28 Maximum leverage raised to 25x on every listed pair on testnet (the ladder's 4% initial / 2% maintenance margin already implied that ceiling), matching the production parameter the mainnet stack ships with. Pyth Pro (live on Stellar since 2026-09-08) added as the on-chain cross-check for Noeracle prices: the router verifies signed Pyth payloads through Pyth's verifier contract and halts new positions on divergence.
  • 2026-09-18 Documentation rebuilt: new site, endpoint reference generated from the gateway's OpenAPI spec, contract addresses and market lists generated from live data.
  • PUMP and UNI perpetuals listed; the market list is now 16 pairs.

2026-08

  • 2026-08-30 SDKs 0.2.0 on npm and PyPI: pool-capacity headroom and custody blocks on market stats, one-shot resubmit on stale footprints (TypeScript), richer submit-failure payloads (Python). Details on the TypeScript and Python pages.
  • 2026-08-12 SDKs 0.1.2 on npm and PyPI: gateway parity (stats, candles, ADL queue, volume, shortfall), cursor pagination, error taxonomy, fixed Python key issuance.
  • Referral economics live on-chain: referees get a 4% fee discount, referrers accrue 10% of referee fees and claim in USDC from the referral registry.
  • Funding settles through the liquidity vault: funding you earn is paid by the vault together with profit, and each market's hourly funding rate is capped at 0.05%.

2026-07

  • 2026-07-21 Production stack redeployed on testnet with fresh contract addresses (see Contracts and events). The new market adds partial close and add or remove collateral on isolated positions, an acceptable-price bound on opens and closes, auto-netting of opposite positions, per-market risk parameters (4% initial and 2% maintenance margin at up to 10x), per-market funding, partial and staged liquidation with an insurance buffer, an auto-deleveraging backstop, and a two-tier pause.
  • 2026-07-19 Public testnet app at testnet.noether.exchange.
  • 2026-07-16 Gateway: GET /v1/orders/open added; GET /v1/trades gains include_opens and cross-liquidation rows; both SDKs gain orders.open().
  • 2026-07-15 The API gateway moved and its base URL changed to the current one.
  • 2026-07-10 First documentation site.
  • 2026-07-06 Production market list expanded to 14 perpetual pairs.
